Black Country Communion – The Great Divide


Way back in 1972, or was it 1973, I bought Trapeze’s album “You Are The Music….We’re Just The Band” and was totally blown away. Over the years as musical trends have flitted in and out of my consciousness, this album has stayed as a constant.Over the following 35 plus years I have listened to and eagerly awaited each and every one of Trapeze and Glenn Hughes’ releases.

Late last year came the Black Country Communion album – a new band which Glenn Hughes joined. It’s real old school rock and gives hints of what Deep Purple may have sounded like had the Mark IV line up lasted. The video below is for my favourite track on the album – enjoy!
